Welcome to 007 Dating!

This makes for a great trip abroad to meet that beautiful girl and below is a very small sample of what to expect when you arrive at your exciting destination to rendezvous.
How you play it is up to you!
MOSCOW
The communists probably would have called it "decadent," but the global media is using words like "exciting," "vibrant," and just plain "hot." They are, of course, talking about Moscow's nightlife, which of late is being hailed as the best on the planet. In a recent article about the subject, Time Magazine referred to Moscow as "a city without limits."
That is not to say that every club in Moscow is like "Up and Down," where cash-happy New Russians polish off $700 bottles of champagne like water. There are plenty of less expensive, less conspicuous places where Muscovites like to hang out at night. For a detailed listing of what's happening at clubs and hotspots, check with the English-language newspapers
MOSCOW NIGHTLIFE
Nightlife in Moscow has moved on since Soviet times. Modern Muscovites are free to enjoy the hedonistic pleasures of a 24-hour city - but it comes at a price. Like fine dining, going out in Moscow can be a very expensive business. Nightspots can be divided into 'democratichny' establishments, where the doormen just keep out hooligans, and 'elitny' venues, where even wearing the latest Prada may not get you through the doors. Dress to impress and book ahead if you plan to go anywhere that attracts the A-list. Moscow also has a seedy side after dark, with lots of lap dancing bars, though visiting them is less taboo than in many other countries. Casinos are now a thing of the past as a ban was enforced on 1 July 2009, making them illegal in the hope of reducing crime.
Moscow has plenty of 24-hour bars and 'night restaurants' that may stay open until 0500 or 0600. Otherwise, bars tend to stay open until 2400 or 0100. The minimum drinking age in Russia is 18 years, although the minimum purchasing age is 21 years. Live music is played all over the city but the quality of the music varies widely. Keep an ear open for nostalgic performances of music from the Soviet era and the up-and-coming bands who play the Moscow student circuit. The Moscow Times ( www.moscowtimes.ru ) has a weekly entertainment supplement with listings.

Bars: Trendy bars abound in this most urban of Russian cities. Bilingua, Krikokolenny pereulok 10/5, is a student favourite that also attracts older, arty Muscovites; they play some great live music here. Keks, ulitsa Timura Frunze 11/3, is young and trendy without being naff or expensive; Friday and Saturday are the big party nights. Hungry Duck, Pushechnaya ulitsa 9/6, has a reputation that can than only be described as notorious - it's not for the faint-hearted, but it's certainly an experience.
You can't visit Moscow without sampling the vodka, and one of the best places to try the local firewater is Vodka Bar, Lva Tolstovo ulitsa 18B. It serves every type of vodka you could hope to try and if shots aren't your thing the cocktails are excellent. Moscow has gone crazy for cocktail lounges: for fantastic views, dress your best to please the face control at the ultra-pretentious City Space, set atop the Swissôtel tower at Kosmodamianskaya Naberezhnaya 52, for swoon-inducing views over the river and city. Even swisher is the glass domed O2 Lounge, perched on top of the sleek Ritz Carlton hotel at Tverskaya ulitsa 3.
Suzy Wong Bar, 11 Timura Frunze, is a laid back but elegant warehouse bar. Tinkoff, Protochniy pereulok 11, is a microbrewery with restaurant that plays live acid jazz and funk at the weekend. For those who pine for something more ‘spit and sawdust', there is the John Bull Pub, 2/9 Smolenskaya Ploschad, which has decent music and real ales on tap. The Irish pub Rosie O'Grady's, ulitsa Znamenka 9/12, is another popular spot with the expat crowd.
Clubs: Many of the new wave of clubs that opened in the 1990s closed after the economic collapse of 1998, but Propaganda, Bolshoi Zlatoustinksy pereulok 7 ( www.propagandamoscow.com ), is one of the city's great survivors. It's a cafe by day, a warehouse club by night. Gaudi Arena, Skladochnaya ulitsa 1 ( www.gaudiarena.ru ), attracts all the top-flight international DJs and is committed to showcasing the best in techno and party nights from international names such as Gatecrasher.
The huge and popular B2, Bolshaya Sadovaya ulitsa 8 ( www.b2club.ru ), has something for everyone, from karaoke to dance music, spread over four floors. Gay and lesbian clubbers could do worse than head to the small 12 Volt, Tverskaya ulitsa 12 ( http://12voltclub.ru ), or the larger Tri Obezany, Nastavnichesky pereulok 11 ( www.gaycentral.ru ), one of Moscow's oldest gay clubs, which features out-there drag shows in its techno mix.
Live Music: Many of the bars and clubs have live music (usually rock but occasionally country, reggae or folk) for a couple of hours in the evening (generally 2200 to 2400/0100). Dom u Dorogi, 8 Dovatora ulitsa ( http://roadhouse.blues.ru ), is an intimate club for aficionados of jazz and blues. Le Club, Ulanskiy pereulok 16 ( www.le-club.ru ), was founded by jazzman Igor Butov. Bunker, Tverskaya ulitsa 12, sibling to the famous B2 nightclub, scores points for its diverse music. For good, honest rock, head to Tabula Rasa, Berezhkovskaya naberezhnaya 28 ( www.tabulaclub.ru ) or 16 Tons, ulitsa Presnensky val 6 ( www.16tons.ru ), housed above an English-themed pub.
ST.PETERSBURGH NIGHTLIFE
Nightlife aficionados arriving in St. Petersburg have cause for celebration - Russia's second largest metropolis can give the capital a run for it's money when it comes to boogieing, boozing and generally binging to excess. This city of artists is the spiritual home of both Russia's live music and dance music scene, and although St. Petersburg's nightlife may not have all the glitz and glam of Moscow's nightlife it has bags more creative integrity, with clubs on the whole tending to be more down to earth and friendlier - with a touch more mayhem for good measure!
A couple of great places to begin an assault on your liver are the Idiot and Cynic Bar. Both are cult favourites amongst the literati expat types and local students, with all the Bohemian drinking habits you would expect from such a crowd. For those who prefer something a bit more civilised, the James Cook tavern offers pub grub and caters to a somewhat older and wiser crowd and the Shamrock is the resident Irish Pub, frequented by ballerinas.
When it comes to heading towards a nightclub one obvious choice is Metro Club. A huge Euro-disco on three levels, you'll find music runs the gamut of pop to hard-core techno. Whereas clubbing purists are unlikely to be impressed (Metro generally attracts youngsters from the suburbs, rather than hip locals, and is something akin to the Hippodrome in London), those hoping to chase pretty blondes across the dancefloor should have a good time. Far more authentic nightlife options present themselves in the form of Griboedov and Tunnel Club. Both are housed in old bomb shelters, the former throwing a real smorgasboard of madcap events ranging from live concerts to Soviet disco and drum and bass nights. Tunnel meanwhile is Russia's first ever techno club and despite entering its third incarnation seems to have lost none of its life or reputation for hedonism! Worthy of mention too is Fish Fabrique - an alternative live music venue popular with artistic/alcoholic types.
Finally for those looking to explore St. Petersburg's jazz legacy, a visit to Cafe Club Che should prove rewarding. This swanky club is frequented by well-heeled music lovers, and a good place to chill or party.
BLACK SEA RESORTS

Holidays in a mediteranean style
Marvellous weather from spring to autumn and miles of golden sand make Romania's Black Sea resorts the ideal destination for beach holidays.
One can find everything there: modern hotels and facilities, a busy night-life, a wide range of sports facilities and numerous inland attractions from castles to vineyards. Now, while the country is heading towards a promising future, the Black Sea is coming back onto the European touristic agenda.
From Wildlife to Watersports
Altogether, the Romanian Black Sea coast stretches out for 245 km (153 miles) from the fascinating unspoilt natural reserves of the Danube Delta to the leisure activities of numerous holiday centres. Whereas the Delta is strictly protected from intrusion, the southern 72 km (45 miles) area has been developed into a string of beach resorts and health spas catering for all ages and interests, from little children to exigent grandparents.
All waited on by the employees of the local touristic and transport services in the city of Constanta. Furthermore, the Black Sea tides are practically not-existent, so swiming is safer than in most parts of the world.
Constanta
With an international airport, a busy seaport, express trains linking it to Bucharest (2 1/2 hours) and a 2,500 year history (the Roman poet Ovid lived in exile here), Constanta is the very kind of cosmopolitan place a seaside vacation needs.
Hotels, shops, ancient monuments, a magnificent casino by the sea and interesting museums complete the picture. All the Black Sea resorts are easily accesible either by train or bus.
Mamaia
The major resort near Constanta is Mamaia, sited north of the city, between a magnificent 7 km (4.5 miles) long beach of unbelievably fine sand and a lake. It is especially designed for families with children.
Sports like sub-aqua diving and paragliding offer thrills from May to October. Restaurants, bars and nightclubs enliven the evenings. Typical country villages, the ruins of the ancient Greek fortress of Histria, and the Danube Delta are easily accessible.
South of Constanta - beauties and gods
From Constanta, a 50 km (31 miles) strip of fine golden sand stretches all the way to the border with Bulgaria; and it hosts a series of resorts poetically named after women and mythological gods.
The Black Sea at its Best
Among the most popular are Neptun and Olimp, built as leisure sites for the rich of the communist era, now offering de-luxe villas and excellent hotels, some on the beach, others in the quiet Comorova forest between the shore and a lake.
Tennis and other sports, open air restaurants, discos, night clubs and cabarets all cater for demanding visitors.
Economical and Youth Holidays
Southwards, the resorts of Jupiter, Cap Aurora, Venus and Saturn offer a variety of inexpensive hotels, campsites and rented accomodation, while Costinesti is mostly a youth resort, with basic accomodation and informal entertainment.
Mangalia is renowned for therapy treatments
The 6th century BC fortified town of Callatis became today's balneary spa of Mangalia, with a special cure hotel. Here, as in Eforie Nord, Eforie Sud and the spa in Neptun, a wide variety of therapeutic treatments are available, including mineral-rich mudbaths, thalassotherapy and the famous Romanian Gerovital cure.
Medical staff are highly qualified and clinics and consulting rooms remain open all through the year. So you can combine professional treatment with all the pleasures of a seaside holiday.
Local Tours
As well as long-distance tours to the Danube Delta with its birdlife and mysterious waterways, or even to Bucovina and the legendary decorated monasteries, or to Bucharest, there are plenty of sites available in the immediate hinterland to tempt you away from sunbathing for days. The 7th century BC Greek city ruins at Histria have already been mentioned.
At Adamclisi, 62 km (39 miles) inland from Constanta, stands the impressive circular monument built at the end of the first century AD to commemorate emperor Trajan's victory over the Dacians. Cottage industries like woodcarving and pottery thrive in the villages. Vineyards producing Romania's savoury wines, including the famous Murfatlar, cover the hillsides.
Traditional costumes are displayed in folklore centres. And, if you feel like getting to the heart of the warm welcoming Romanian experience, there are Romanian feasts with local dishes, plum brandy, wine, music and dancing that will remain in your memory as part of a special seaside holiday.

UKRAINE NIGHTLIFE
Nightlife in Odessa
Odessa is renown for its nightlife. Unlike Moscow and Kiev, Odessa is a relatively small city, and all of Odessa's nightlife attractions are easily accessible. People often switch several nightclubs before dawn. Prices for nightlife entertainment are much lower in Odessa than in Kiev or Moscow.
Arcadia district is the best place for summer nightlife in Odessa. Teeming with dozens of discos, nightclubs, and bars, the area provides ample opportunities for visitors of Odessa. The place is very crowded during weekend, and the most popular nightclubs in Odessa are already full by 11pm. You can always sneak in by giving a $10 bill to security guys.
In winter, there are many nightclubs in Odessa city center, as the town is bustling with nightlife. Popularity of nightclubs in Odessa changes often; ask about the currently popular clubs at the hotel reception. In terms of pickup, you would prefer Odessa's cheaper clubs.
Nightlife in Odessa is inexpensive. For most nightclubs, admittance is below $10, and drinks cost $3-8. Almost all nightclubs in Odessa play loud music and smoking is allowed. Security is very good and, though many people get drunk, incidents are few. Ready yourself to many unusual things in Odessa nightlife: very liberal attitude to touching the girls, limited female clothing, common drinking, and many underage guests.
Striptease is not popular in Odessa. Indeed, why pay for something which is widely available free? There are several strip bars in Odessa, including nude. All strip bars in Odessa serve alcohol. Entrance fee is about $20 and tips for lap dance are $2. Strip dancers ask for $200-300 per night.
